Care Enough
The state of our health care system today is symptomatic of a disease affecting American democracy as a whole. As United States citizens, we can't afford discouragement. Too much is at stake. What kind of nation will we leave our children?
This site has four purposes:
- To raise public consciousness of the abuses allowed by our nearly unregulated system of corporate health insurance.
- To offer guidance to patients whose health insurance companies have denied benefits for treatments recommended by their doctors.
- To point to campaign finance reform as the key to addressing big money's corrosive effects on democracy. The way that our political campaigns are being financed is moving us away from a form of government that represents the American people toward a new system of government controlled by corporate interests.
- To offer links connecting people to further information on these issues.
